Pretty basic, does the job

The stand does it jobs. Period. The wooden parts are quite roughly processed and have no finish on them. Vinyl seems to be a "luxury" hobby these days, so, in my perception at least, accompanying accessories should have that "classy" feel. It is not the case with this stand. On the other hand, the price tag is pretty friendly. So, from the point of view of pure functionality, this product is okay. The feel is extremely cheap.

Schöne Art der Präsentation alter und neuer Schätze

Ich finde die Idee, Platten auf so einem minmalistischen Ständer zu lagern, toll!
Sicher sind die Platten in einem geschlossenen Case oder Regal auf Dauer besser aufgehoben (Schutz vor Staub), aber gerade in einem vollen Case tut man sich schwer, die Sammlung durchzublättern und nach Schätzen zu stöbern. Das gelingt hier wunderbar!
Die Platten werden durch die schräg gestellten Plexiglasscheiben sicher gehalten und man kann sie optimal Platte für Platte von links nach rechts kippen, das Cover betrachten oder sie herausnehmen und spielen. Außerdem kann man die Platte an genau der gleichen Stelle wieder in die Sammlung zurückstellen.
Getestet habe ich den Ständer mit ca. 50 Platten. Er scheint mir sehr stabil zu sein.
Ich empfehle den Record Stand für größere Sammlungen zur Vorauswahl ("Was spiele ich denn heute?") oder für kleinere Sammlungen als Hingucker, wenn man auf dem Boden den Platz zum Stellen hat.
