Simple and effective

The Lindy USB 3.0 Hub needs few words. It's easy to use; simply plug it in and it's ready to go. It took me from 3 USB ports, to 7, which comfortably covers all my needs. I use it especially for when I need to plug in many license managers, but it can handle all kinds of USB inputs. I tried it out by plugging it full, ranging from a MIDI controller to a soundcard, and it still worked with full functionality. That said, considering the price there may be other inputs the Lindy might not be able to process. The build quality gets 4 stars, but it's good for the price you pay.

Good, but not great - experience wise.

I bought this perticular item because of its ability to take in an optional PSU. There were no instructions and no labeling on the device. One can, however safely deduct that the socket that does not look like USB slot is the one for the Power Supply. But a consumer might want to be sure. That being said, it works great out of the box.

perfect for me

This is works perfectly. I am using this for my DJ setup.
Macbook pro retina 2015 using with this device the followings:

- Native Instruments Traktor X1 Mk2
- USB/DMX controller
- External SSD drive or PIONEER CDJ 400
- iphone charging or PIONEER CDJ 400

The devices are not disconnected when using this, so this is good.
