Krivo Pickup for Upright Bass

If what you are looking for is the NHOP sound, that you slap the bass, that you play at very loud volumes, that you are using effect pedals with your upright or that you want a simple solution for any setting to amplify your Upright with, this is what you are looking for!

it's extremely easy to put on the bass and setup, it comes bundled with everything you need witch is great!

the build quality seems good, the jack insert feels pretty solid!

Aesthetically it doesn't impact the look of the bass that much, it's pretty discret if that is important to you.

For the sound, it's a magnetic pickup, so it is very precise, but you'r upright bass will sound more like an electric bass. That aside it's a very nice pickup, it's warm and precise!

Talking about precision it's great for using using effect pedals! Some effects that were once unusable now sound great with the upright! (boss Oc2...)

Finally If you play at loud volumes, you will have less problems with feedback compared to a piezo!

To summarise it's a great product, discret, sturdy, easy to mount, with a great sound!

Dieser Krivo Pickup hat mich sofort überzeugt. Schnelle und flexible Einstellung durch "dual lock" Klettband. Sowohl die Verpackung als auch die Holzgehäuse-Löcher sehen ein bisschen rau aus aber macht's nichts. Eine Beitriebsanleitung in der Verpackung gibt nicht aber die Aufbau ist intuitiv genug. Ein Inbusschlüssel für die Einstellung der Höhe der Magneten ist vorhanden. Einfach rein in den Bassverstärker ohne zusätlicheVorverstärker/DI oder EQ. Der Sound wie gesagt überzeugt. Mit Jazzicato Tungster Saiten kommt auch ziemlich "akustisch" rüber. Der Ton ist voll Dynamik, kann laut eigestellt werdem und verursacht so gut wie keine Kopplung. Sehr zu empfehlen für Kontrabassisten die Punk, Rockabilly, Psychobilly spielen. Das Fingerbrett Klick" kommt auch durch ohne zu viele Höhen. Zusätzlich mann kann immer ein Piezo zusätzlich einbauen um den Ton zu ründen. Ich hab ein Shadow Rockabilly Pro ins Steg eingebaut (also ohne Fingerbrett Piezo).
