Good stand to get things high.

I actually haven't used this for a mic, but for a light weight studio light and a small softbox with manfrotto adapter, in my poor mans photography studio. It works great! It is quite heavy, but it is good thing for stability.

The stand you need for Drum OH

So I was looking for a good pair of mic stands to use as drum OH.

Deciding to buy this stand and matching it with the K&M 25530
Adjustable Arm was the best decision I ever made.
I mounted the Se electronics SE 4400A microphone and fully extended the arm with the stand at 240cm high, and it was solid and stable.
The extra counterweight that is included with the arm definitely did its job BUT this stand is so solid and stable and heavy that will keep being stable with any microphone on top of it.

If you are looking for drum OH and you need a really high, solid and really steady mic stand then this stand with the K&M 25530
Adjustable Arm is your best choice at that price.
