Mein nunmehr 5. Mundstück von Jody Jazz. Nach zweistündigem Testen das für mich beste Teil für mein Cannonball Gerald Albright Alto. sehr klar und obertonreich, deutlich heller als das DV NY und wärmer als die beiden MP von Beechler. Die grosse Kammer gibt dem Ganzen sehr viel Kraft. Auslöser für den Kauf war mein Theo Wanne Durga 3, dessen Klang mir zu scharf war. Das Alto ist bereits sehr hell im Klang (das ist auch so gewollt), Aber mit dem DV habe ich nun die richtige Balance gefunden. Das Testen hat sich gelohnt und das Team von Thomann vor Ort war ausgesprochen geduldig und hilfsbereit.

I've been playing the DV 7 alto pice for 10 years now - this is a replacement for the first that I wore out!.. and it's even better than the first! - Sooo well made - forget other more expensive pieces that claim to make the audience dance, but sound hollow and shrill - this is the one that does it all with a genuinely beautiful full tone, great intonation and free blowing - in fact, it's so free blowing a 1/2 step up in reed is required - I love the Vandoren V21 2 1/2, Green Javas 2 1/2 or La Voz Med Hard for best results. I dropped a star on the response because the high notes do need to be refocused, but it's worth it!

Après avoir reçu un Jody jazz New York au lieu d’un dv (Échange fait par le SAV sans problème, sérieux et service impeccable ) Hormis que je n’avais de suivi livraison sur le nouvel envoi.
Concernant ce bec, son plein et riche sur toute le tessiture très versatile on peut donc passer sur du jazz conventionnel comme sur du plus moderne..👍, cependant la couleur générale est tout de même contemporaine, bonne facilité d’émission et suraigus bien. Suis pas fan de la ligature je l’ai remplacé par une ancienne ligature d’un Dukoff .
Bec très complet et plaisant à jouer beau son un peu cher mais la qualité est au rendez vous.

Gutes Mundstück mit leichter Ansprache

Ich habe das Jody Jazz ausprobiert, da ich mich in einer kleinen Saxofonmundstückkrise befinde. Ich war überrascht über die einfache Ansprache. Gutes Mundstück, welches man auf alle Fälle ausprobieren sollte. Ich habe mich allerdings am Schluss doch für ein anderes Mundstück entschieden, weil es für mich persönlich noch besser war.
