Solid bow

I purchased this as an upgrade from the bow that came with my beginner violin set. The bow is heavier and feels solidly built, very well crafted. One thing I notice is that the bow tends to be more bouncy towards fast passage and has quite a very generic sound when played (I compared with the Höfner AS-26V). I accidentally dropped it a few times but no problems at all. That was a good thing about carbon graphite bows, their durability.

A nice bow

First impression is that it looks and feels like a nice quality bow. The end screw is working smoothly. The stick is quite a bit thicker at the frog than my other bows, which worried me at first. The slightly wider grip took some time getting used to but the bow is quite light and has a good bounce to it, which I like. Soundwise it does what it should; it draws an even and smooth tone, also possible to get a good bite on the short strokes.

To me it's a good bow as a step up from my beginner bow.
