Thon Case Denon DJ Prime 4

As a mobile DJ I consider a flight case essential for a lot of DJ kit. Looking around at the various options - at Thomann and elsewhere - this case seemed to be the lightest (aside from the selection of soft cases, but taking the unit right out of the case to use it doesn't personally appeal) and is also slimmer (shorter) and less bulky than the other options. It's still quite heavy when combined with the Prime 4+, but no where near as hefty as the other options.
If I were to be picky, I'd prefer a black textured finish which wouldn't seem to show fingerprints/smudges as easily and perhaps a removeable front access plate rather than it being built into the lid, but those aren't deal breakers by any means.
There's room behind the Denon for XLR leads to stay plugged in and to store a wired mic, which is all I need.

I am using this for a few years now for my prime 4 and I must say it is a good investment for carrying around my prime 4. It is well-made and a robust case, but I must say the handles are not made for carrying this too long. Taking it from the stage to the car, yes. Taking it from my apartment down the stairs to the car, yes.
Carrying it from my apartment 2km to the train station: NO. Of course the prime4+case is quite heavy, but that's not the point: The handles are too thin and the pads on the handles are too hard. If you ever carried something heavy with a thin strip of cloth or something, you know how that can cut into your hand. Its the same with the handles on this.
But if that's not a problem for you, then this case is definitively a good investment!
