I'm not a very experienced drummer, but I can tell from the point of how they are built, these pedals are quite solid, there are no issues of squeaking or any sort of weird sounds, the beaters are fine (I use the pedals along with a electronic drum kit), the only thing that I must get used to is maybe the fact that they might seem a little bit harder to press, or maybe it's just my setup (I still have to work on spring adjustments, feet position and all that stuff). Maybe for beginners, they could go with a less expensive double-pedal, but I knew that Tama was quite a good brand in making such instruments, so that's why I picked this model.
