Great cable apart from the fabric glue
CoPo26 17.03.2026
This cable is very good, so far. I have just installed a 25 metre run of 16-channel multipair and terminated one end to a stage box (for studio use) and the other end to XLR and TRS (control room side), hand-soldering each of the 96 connections.

My only issue with this product is that the white foamy wrap within the outer layers of the main cable , the one that sits between the outer foil wrap and the inner individual multicore strands (16) is glued to them. if you are lucky, it can unravel in a spiral fashion to reveal clean black (8) and grey (8) numbered core channel cables, but most of the time it doesn't quite do that. It sticks fast and splits to tiny fabric strands and takes ages to remove and clean the individual channel cables of glue and gunk.

The other only quibble is visibility of the internal cable labelling. The number system on the black cables if very difficult to read (very feint white ink on black casing), whereas the grey/white ones with black ink are very easy to read.

Overall sound quality good, so far. As I mentioned earlier, I am only just getting to test it sonically and have found no issue. I will report later if I do find any problems that aren't my fault or caused by the equipment connected at each end etc.

It is flexible enough for installation with soft bends if required. Tough enough and firm enough. Best for studio use and not live work.

Audio quality excellent and no earth hum etc. Happy enough now that the time consuming cleaning of each stand to remove glue deposits is complete too.
