After having recorded some interviews and some interior scenes for a film I have the impression that the CMC1L has more pleasant high-end response than the previous amplifiers from Schoeps. I suspect that these recordings will need less de-essing and the applied eq will be gentler.

The Legendary Schoeps quality doesn't disappoint. I decided to get this to replace a CMC6. The size of the removable connectors and of the unit overall is far more convenient and also allows for usage in small spaces with the least obtrusion. There are also good choices for mounting with a low profile. I can detect no discernible sound difference ( although Schoeps indicates that the CMC1s may be a little better ). The supplied cable is quite long at 16' and I am purchasing the rycote cb10 from Thomann also to have a portable solution with minimal length wire runs.

Ok, den LEMO- Anschluss gibt es natürlich nicht "umsonst". Aber darüberhinaus ist keinerlei "Nachteil" erkennbar. Im Gegenteil - die technischen Daten sind sensationell gut. Wer es also aus optischen- / ästhetischen oder sonst was für Gründen "kleiner" braucht und trotzdem die Flexibilität von Wechselkapseln möchte der ist beim CMC1L goldrichtig. Für alle anderen gibt es ja noch die "größeren" Brüder.

Ich nehme damit Soundeffekte, Foleys und Atmosphären auf, nutze es aber auch zum Angeln in Innenräumen oder bei ADR und VO Aufnahmen, je nachdem welche Kapsel ich verwende.
