Kodamo Mask1 - a different concept in synthesizer sounds

After reading and hearind demos of the MASK1 I decided to take the plunnge and purchase one. Although I am still in the 'honeymoon' period I have to say the MASK1 build and sound quality confirms my choice. I am delighted with the build quailty, the keyboard is what you can expect from Fatar, very good. The front panel layout is simple and easy to understand, however the inclusion of the small limited character display is disappointing. Annoyingly the characters continue to schroll when using the display to change sounds, options and parameters etc. This issue is emphasized more in the way you have to navigate keyboard funtions, sound modifications and parameter changes. It's a pity otherwise it would be a near perfect performance keyboard. Having said that with a little work in understanding access to the key functions and the work flow you do get to deal with the silly display approach. The sounds of the MASK1 make up for this and make it all worth while, it will not disappoint.
