K&M 24630 is bet in it class - stable and sturdy, easily can hold a heavy light fixtures at the top, the only drawback is that wit a larger load is not so easily to lift or lower it, the quick sprocket really helps, also the spring at the bottom, but when they are fresh - you have to hold down it with one leg when you extend the tube, even when screw lock is loose.
