I bought these K&M winding stands recently and they are excellent for winding up some of the heavier tops. The good thing about these stands is that you are not confined to the regular stops on other stands, you simply wind up to any stop position and lock.

Great distance pole. We have it raise light T bars and it works a treat. Its can also be used to hoist satallite speakers on subs with ease. Highly recommend.

Easily the best

I use these rods to put D&B Max 15 on top of EAW LA 118 18'' Subs. These Max 15 are fairly heavy. But with these it's easy. The winch helps you decide about the height of the top after it's been put on the rod. No need for a helping hand. By counting the holes on the inner tube you can put both tops on the exact same height. Sturdy steel construction and good ballance on stable, horizontal ground, even when the rod is at its maximum length.
