Good but doesn't take much weight
Anonim 11.09.2014
I got this so I could mount a spare LCD monitor on a mic stand in my vocal booth. The part is well made like most K&M parts, but it doesn't really tighten enough to hold the weight of a large monitor (24" LCD) without sagging. I was able to get it to stay at a particular angle (around 45 degrees) where the weight was obviously balanced but it limits the possible positions that the monitor can be put into.
It would be perfect for a much lighter or smaller screen.

A Great Product

I have a Kawai VPC1 and because it has a curved top and poor music rack I needed to do some re-organising to get the best ergonomics. This has solved the problem of placing my pc screen in the exact place(at the left of the piano) to avoid neck strain and freeing up the space directly in front where I can now place a proper music score stand. The K&M 19685 is very well made and supports my ViewSonic 15" monitor easy. One thing though is to get 4 screws (M4 I believe) as they are not included!

Can be used for bigger monitors with some cheat.
vitaliistep 21.12.2017
I use it for 32-inch monitor (7.80kg, Philips BDM3270QP2). Even if you tighten it as hard as you can, with such load (official max load = 5kg) it still tends to lean down after about 30 minutes. So I just put a tiny cardboard box of an appropriate size to fix it at a desirable angle between it and K&M 18817 and there are no problems whatsoever!

Great product at a great price!

I bought this for my band as we use TFT monitors linked to a laptop for our words and music. I used to have a bracket stand that attached to a speaker stand and paid nearly three times as much for it. But with the ability of attaching the bracket on to a mic stand makes this extremely versatile in placing at any height and any location on the stage. The great thing with this also is the VESA plate stays attached to the monitor and slides onto the mic stand attachment bracket.
I have already told the rest of my band mates to consider getting this as in the past they have either needed a table or a wire frame music stand that a lot of schools had.
This is a great buy not only for bands but also for audio visual production companies as this would be great for exhibitions and as a fold back presentation monitor for clients presentation slides.

Does what it says on the tin

Robust item that supports a 19" TFT monitor easily. Bought a cheaper one on eBay since, big mistake! It slips with anything more than 15" mounted... This is the one to buy.

32 inch 4 kg monitor too big for this.
Duvrai 05.11.2024
Although the specs mention displays up to 5 kg, our 32inch 4kg displays seem too heavy (or too big). It could actually work if the mechanism was truly locking. Our monitors are always slowly swivelling down using this adapter. After a few hours, the display ends up facing completely down.
