I have one of these in a Martin 0015 from about 4 years ago and it is very fine indeed . The one I purchased now for a dreadnought is really nothing compared to that . It appears K&K production control has gone out the window to some degree ... why ?

The Mic is not the same at all . My original sounds great , this one sounds rubbish in comparison , and yes , I did an A to B test . I saw other folks comment on that same topic and I have to agree

This is not worth the price of admission anymore .... and that is a shame
I am dissapointed and annoyed ....I really dont belive folks could really consider the new mics a reasonable replacement ...
Also , I tried two different mics from the same range and the results were the same
