Very good 1176 clone in such a small format

After tries KT76, WA76 and others was still not happy with the 1176 sound. I've decided to give a try on this one even if is a clone of rev.B and the others I've tried were rev.D clone...I was pleasantly surprised and my quest stopped with this one.
Just buy it and you will not regret the decision.

Amazing 1176 blue stripe clone, absolutely gorgeous sound on low end and packs a real punch. Have been lucky enough to use the real thing as well as other clones and this is as close as you need - and for the functionality and price it's the best!

Expect a little low-mid colouration (in a nice 1176 type way) and a hell of a lot of grab! Love it!

Benutze den 576er seit knapp 2 Jahren im kleinen, aber feinen Heimstudio-Rack vorwiegend zum tracken von Drum-Rooms, Vox (in Kombination mit dem One LA500) und Bass.

Bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Ich habe zwar keinen Vergleich mit anderer 1176er Hardware jedoch mit 1176er (Slate) Plugins in verschiedenen Ausführungen.

Sound:
Der Bluestripe Sound halt - Sehr schnelle und durchsetzungsstarke, charaktervolle Kompression - schön dreckig, mittig & bissig. Wer einen unauffälligeren Kompressor sucht, der sollte lieber zu einem anderen Gerät greifen, wie zb. einem schwarzen, "regulären" 1176er.

Für meine Zwecke ist er genau richtig.

Positives: Sound, Preis/Leistung.
Negatives: Bisher noch nichts entdeckt.

This compressor is great to have in your toolbox! It will always be a part of mine!
iGS did an amazing job at making it sound great and the build quality is second to non! I love that they made a cover that separates its components from the neighboring modules. IGS goes that extra mile!
