Ibanez PPA16HSG-YE Pick Set

These picks are excellent for practice and live gigs. They are fairly small so do take this in to consideration before purchasing. They are easily manipulated in the hand for A.H. and/or hybrid picking. The sand does come away form the grip after a while making your fingers dirty; so do make sure that you clean your tone and volume knobs regularly! I love these picks!!!

I wanted to try something new as I usually use Fender picks, and these were just that. They took a little getting used to; both in feel and size. They first felt a tad bit small for my taste, you might not have these issues, I might just be weird with how things feel or have abnormal hands. In any case, within a few days of playing I learned to love these. Whether you're playing fast down picking Metal, or slow Blues Lead Noodling. They'll serve you just fine.

Such a cool grip, why arent all picks like this.
Perfect if you have sweaty fingers or live near water or if you're an otter.
Unpleasant feel to hold it in mouth, wouldn't recommend

Firts of all the finish is gorgeous, you cant see in the pics but the writing on it is shimy gold, looks fancy!
The best thing about these for me is the shape, i really love the shorter form , really enhances precision when alternate picking!
The grip is really good when dry but if it gets sweaty it slips.
All in all good choice!

i was looking for picks with great handling because i play thrash metal and speed and power is needed.i had a previous model of ibanez and now these new are excellent.
pros:great handling and feeling especially in high speed.
cons: if i find i will tell you...

They last a lot, great durability, nice feelings while holding it thanks to the sandgrip, very good with sweat hands.

Grip is great. But somehow I'm not quite thrilled about this product. Feels like that you sometimes accidently use the "sand paper" on the strings if u don't hold it correctly.
And also I'd like a softer version, the difference between hard and medium is more or less neglectable.

My hands turn rather sweaty when playing intensively. That always caused my pick to slip or turn in my hand. Not anymore. These picks stay firm between my fingers, allowing me to keep the same angle when hitting the strings.
If you can relate to the above, I highly recommend to try them out. They became my default picks.

I find the quality very good, and the sand stays put for a long time.

It's supposed to provide you with better grip, but it ain't much better than picks with textured surfaces. Both the sandpaper and pick tip wear off at a ridiculous pace. I don't pick very heavy and still would have to replace these every 6-10 hours of use.

The product is fine but I couldn't get used to the feel of it.
