Does what it does
This is extremely useful for drummer with neighbors close by or simply to take off and use as a practice pad. I purchased this for my 14 inch snare drum and it works like a charm, sound and tone has dampened drastically. The feel and "thud thud" sound after is not exactly nice but that is to be expected when using a damper like this. One useful key to note for people with ultra loud snares is you could turn the snares on and put this, this would still give off a snary "pac" sound but at a lower volume.

Good Playability
The product is of hi-quality and feel and playability are above average when compared to similar products.
If used with regular skins I notice it still has a bit of volume specially from botton heads so it is not completely silent, if you have neighbours.

Well, for sure dampens the sound, but not apartment ready.
on my toms, they still sound like if I had 3 bigfatsnaredrum originals.
for sure makes less noise, but you can hear a very loud thump. so better stick with the remo silent strokes if you life in an apartment.

Good for the money
Makes any surface a good place for practicing.
Decent dB reduction but it's not as silent as an heavy practice pad placed on the snare. Perfect for floor tom in my opinion.

Excellent dampeners!
I am so glad that these dampeners exist. I can play without disturbing my neighbours now. They do their job and well! The drums are really quiet. I am very happy and highly recommend these dampeners! Perhaps, the only thing that Evans could have added was a plastic (hard) material on the surface that would help with stick rebound. But, other than that, these dampeners are perfect!

Ma batteuse jouais super fort et avec ce truc sur la caisse claire on peut enfin s'entendre. Je recommande, très bon rebond et tient bien en place.
