HK Audio AP-8 Set

I bought these to fly a pair of Premium PR:O 12 cabinets. Initial impressions are very good - they are well made and surprisingly good value for flying equipment.

Pros:
HK have FINALLY made a flying set for these speakers to use the flying points that are part of the design*.
They are very well made and come with all the necessary fixing bolts/screws.

Cons:
The cross-bolts to attach cables or spansets are threaded all the way along - it would have been nice to have a smooth section of shaft where the cables will sit.
When the cross-bolt is in the centre position it isn't possible to remove the bolt fixing the bracket to the cabinet. This isn't a problem for permanent installs but adds to rigging time for speakers that are only flown occasionally.

*I have flown these in the past using eye bolts in the speaker flying points, but this puts a side load on the eyebolt so isn't really acceptable. These brackets are a much better solution.
