Gator GWE-Acou-3/4 Case

the case is ok for the price, at least its design and the material used.
but hard plastic would be better than plywood, the outer shell is covered in some thin and almost skin-like strate of elastic material: once it is sratched open, it's over. it will tear continuously. the inside padding is fine and somewhat thick, although it can come off if pulled from the sides. the inside pocket space is good, but it could have been larger. and, on the outside, the locking mechanism is not robust, it is quite cheap, with plastic handlers.

other than that: my case came in with a lot of bumps and a top that just will not stay closed, unless the hinges(locks) are plugged in. extremely annoying, i bet it is bad manufacturing or a really nasty bump that took place. the cardboard it came in was completely torn on one side, hence the bumps on the outer shell of the case. i make use of it and it works, but the delivery, the first impression and some details just STAND OUT after a while. i suggest a more expensive case. gator is renowned for great cases, this should certainly not be their best, i can tell.

Bought this case so I could take the 3/4 guitar on tour and I can only say that it's the best case I've owned for my little 3/4.

Before I decided to buy this case my guitar unfortunately suffered from 2 accidents while touring that led to two expensive repairs. Since I purchased this case (3 years ago) the guitar has never had any in transit accidents. I've toured intensively around Europe and USA. It's been in vans, trains, planes, very loaded cars and guess what?! Guitar is still going strong! The Gator case has been a very good friend to my 3/4 guitar.

I bought a parlor guitar just to have some fun, it wasn't any fancy parlor guitar because I was just fooling around , the thing is that I really liked the guitar and decided to keep it , so the proper thing was to have a case for this little thing and that was it, I never had a parlor guitar so I had to look carefully and the better place to do it at least for me is Thomman, the case came as everything always does, superwell packed and safe I live in UK and Thomman is in Germany and I always wait around 5 days when I order a guitar, an amp or something bulky like a case, but the most important is that my little Gretsch Jim Dandy fits perfectly in its case, If you are looking for a hard case for your parlor guitar this is perfect, superb, I highly recommend it and this review is for the case and for Thomman, this place deserves 5 stars too , when I come here to buy something I will always find it and I know the price is good and the professionalism of the people at Thomman it's fantastic.
