Elixir Nanoweb Super Light BassGuitar

I have received these strings as a birthday present from a drummer. I was a little bit disappointed about them at first because of the gauge. I have always been thinking that small gauge sounds not that bassy as I would expect. In the end I found that I was wrong! I put them on a medium scale bass. I was about to do something with that bass because I did not liked its sound. But, after I put these strings, that bass became my first bass choice. I know it sounds like a fairy tale, but now the bass has a great tone for slapping, the tension is perfect and the small gauge let me play faster and not to get tired so soon.

So here are my reasons I recommend these string!
1. The tone is warm and a little bit bright bot not too bright, which make the bass perfect for anything i want to play
2. Slapping is at the next level! Wojtek Pi also uses small gauges and he is a slapping machine.
3. Easy to play because tension is lower and no need to pull that hard the string

I have found what that bass was missing, and it was not the pickups, it was the strings.
