Elixir Polyweb Medium Acoustic

Strings are such a personal choice and I´ve spent a fortune trying every brand and combination of string on my mahogany Martin 000. As a finger style guitarist I´ve personally found the right balance in tone, intonation, feel and evenness across the neck with these Elixir Polyweb (13-56) strings. If your guitar is bright and you want to calm it down then these strings do the job. A smoother feel and warmer more tonally balanced set of strings than the Elixir Nanoweb phosphor bronze. Don´t be put off by the heavy white coating on the wound strings when you open them up. You don’t notice it once you get playing. As with all coated strings they will start to fray at the picking hand if you use picks or have a long ring finger nail but this doesn’t affect anything really. So far so good. Great for recording.
