I aplied the strings late at night and didn't really play much. I wake up the next morning only to find out that the d and g strings went completely dead. I am 100% sure i aplied them correctly, and pretty sure they aren't twisted (i bent the end before cutting them in order to prevent them from twisting). I remounted them multiple times, still nothing

I think it is largely due to the packaging as they were in thin, unsealed envelopes meaning humidity may have comprimised them. You are really paying for the colour and you will be better of with a set of harley benton value bass strings as I had better experience with those (wich cost about 5 euro)

+they left a collor mark both on my mousepad and my headstock. Stay away
