Wonderful machine
This really is a wonderful machine. Great functionality and gets those classic 909 sounds i to your hands.
The workflow seemed daunting at first, particularly all of the settings menu items but it really is very easy to use. Don't forget to enable autosave to avoid disappointment. Solid build quality and great style.
In the end I discovered I prefer the 808 sound, but believe me this machine is fantastic.

Excellent sound!
I never had a real 909 and was always working with samples. Thanks to Behringer I finally got my hands on the hardware version which seems to me very faithful to the original. The material is a very hard plastic and everything seems sturdy and well made. Congratulations to Behringer, we’re living in the “analog Renaissance”!

I never tried the real 909, i really don't know if this is or if its sound like the original , but i don't care, for me it's a very inspiring instrument, you can experiment a lot with with it... Thanks !

Just ok... Better use samples
Nice for those who are obsessed with 909 drum machine. Personally I think this machine to big and the sequencer is not even close to those in the market today. I understand it is a clone of a classic but a little originality will upgrade any classic insturment.
I got my sample pack in a Digitakt and its much better now.

Finally!! the 909 is back!
This machine sounds amazing! the added features really bring out the sound to the next level! It came packaged very well and I had a groove immediately right out of the box thanks to the very intuitive and simple layout!

Overall nice remake, feels a little cheap though
Being a big fan of the 909 sound, I was excited about the Behringer clone. Unfortunately, even though the sound is there, the unit's overall "cheap feeling" makes it a lot less fun to use than I had hoped for. The knobs are pretty stiff and the buttons also feel like they might need some oil. As always, great service from Thomann though!

It works and I do not need to spend $5000 for the real thing
The sound is there if you tweek it a bit. I had 2 custom built TR-909 and acces to a real one. The diference is slight but the price of the RD-9 is unbeatable.

I use this for most of my music and its really good. I have recorded many drum hits from this instrument and i keep using it again and again.

Click sound
Closed and open Hihat randomly turns into a click sound. Problem disappears after rebooting the device
