SOUND: so crisp through JBL 305P speakers.
DESIGN: If you place interface on left side of desk, MONITOR knob can block R channel meter easily. Monitor outs are placed horizontally meaning you have to cross your L & R cables. It would be better vertically, like a lot of other interfaces. Not the end of the world though!
FEATURES:
Wow, it really does punch above its weight for this price. Has pretty much all of what the Motu M4 has plus it includes lots of software, a MIDI IN/OUT and also a hub extender. That's quite nifty!
WARNING: Check the power rating for each of your devices which will be plugged into your hub. It only provides for up to 250mA!
BUILD: Really solid, very nicely weighted - it will not move around easily Also I feel you could drop this 100 times without any concern. It's really well built

Side note:
I initially purchased the Motu M4 and while that has super, well thought out design, I was experiencing sudden "bit-crushing" type effect on the audio. This happened on two different machines running different versions of Windows (10 & 11). I then suspected the device or drivers were faulty. This led me to investigate and discovered it is a common enough issue even on the Motu M2 also. Thomann cover return shipping within 30 days which was neat.

I got the MiniFuse 2 as my first real audio interface for home recording — vocals, guitar, and voiceovers. I wanted something easy to use, with good sound and not too expensive. After a few months, here’s my quick take.

What works well: Recordings sound clear and professional; simple layout, easy to use even for beginners; great for tracking vocals/instruments in real time; super handy for connecting controllers or keyboards; includes useful plugins and a DAW to get started.

What could be better: Not ideal for mics like the SM7B without a booster; the MiniFuse software sometimes glitches; can be limiting if you're recording with someone else; you can’t activate it on just one input; feels fine for home use, but not super rugged.

In conclusion, the MiniFuse 2 is a great budget interface for beginners or anyone recording at home. It sounds good, is easy to use, and has a few extra features that make it stand out. It’s not perfect — but for the price, it’s absolutely worth it!

As an EDM producer, I needed an audio interface mainly for recording guitar, and this one has been perfect for my setup so far. The build feels solid, it looks very clean and professional, and fits nicely on my desk.

Sound quality is excellent, both for recording and playback, and I haven’t had any issues with latency. The mix knob (for blending input with USB playback) in combination with Direct Mono button is very useful when I want to monitor guitar or vocals directly without delay.

Another feature I really like is the USB hub – it makes connecting my MIDI keyboard really convenient.

So far, MiniFuse 2 seems like a reliable and great-looking audio interface that covers all my needs as a producer. Highly recommended if you want something simple, effective, and affordable.
