Case is sturdy and well built. It’s not over padded, the instrument fits tightly up to the edge but is well nestled into the padding that lines the interior and does not shake around. Good design, good price. You may want to trim clearance areas in the foam a little bit for a few knobs (2) and the pitch bender controls but otherwise perfect.
