A funny uke

I bought this uke for my nephew so that he can develop some musicality. Mahalo makes ukes which are decent starters instruments (I have one too :-)).
It took me approximately a few hours of tuning and playing. But I think that is normal when you have brand new uke with brand new strings.
The bag that comes with the uke is quite thin material. I'm not sure whether the bag will hold the uke when it is wet, but on the other hand no one said that the bag is waterproof.
The image on the uke is of good quality. Please be aware that the sound is somewhat muffled, because the opening of the body is smaller than a normal uke.
Conclusion: this is a good looking toy for children, but if you want to buy it as an adult as a starter instrument (and not for funny acts) I wouldn't advise this one to you.

Nice ukulele for the money

I could not resist this Hawaii colors and hole shapes. General quality is ok, some glue spots here and there but nevermind. One of the tuners does not stays in tune, need to tune it after 2-3 songs but I guess it’s ok for 20 euro ukulele. What is good about it is the sound, loud and full, much better that all the ukuleles I tried in this price range and surely better than the plastic ones. Used it in recording session and it’s goood! If you need ukulele for occasional playing it is cool.

Excellent pour débuter

Acheté pour ma fille qui voulait se mettre à la musique...ben papa s'amuse bien avec.
Tiens assez bien l'accordage...mais faut tourner les manivelles de temps en temps quand même. Je n'ai pas encore monté les cordes Aquila achetées en même temps...les cordes d'origine suffisent pour se faire la main (mais je ne sais pas ce que c'est comme marque).
Pour le prix c'est nickel.
Finalement le seul problème de Thomann c'est la livraison...UPS...une horreur. Livraison "dans la journée avant 19H" super...si on demande une fourchette un peu plus précise ça ne marche pas...livreur qui n'appelle pas pour avertir de sa venue...service déplorable! Changez de service livraison.

Sie lässt sich gut spielen. Der Sound ist wie eine Sopran zu kingen hat, geil.
Die Bünde sind leider sehr, sehr scharfkantig an den Seiten, kann man aber beheben, vielleicht wurde Sie zu trocken gelagert. Nach einer Woche und ca.1 Std pro Tag Spielzeit, hat sich auch die Stimmung eingepegelt.
INKL. TASCHE?, eine Alditüte hat mehr Qualität.
Gerader Hals, gute Saitenlage.
Die G-Saite hat einen gemessenen Abstand, (Unterkante Saite-Oberkante Fredboard) 1er Bund ca. 1,5 mm; 12 er Bund ca. 3,5 mm ). Also OK.
Das ist meine erste UKE und ich bin bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten sehr zufrieden. Ich werde mir , wenn ich genug gespart habe, auf jeden Fall eine höherwertige UKE kaufen.
Ein tolles Einsteigerinsrument.
Ich spiele nur zu Hause mit ein paar Freunden zum Spass und wir kamen alle? mehr oder weniger zum gleichen Ergebnis.
Mir gefällt noch, daß die Schalllöcher, der Inselgruppe Hawaii nachempfunden wurde.
