Was für die Gitarristen der "The Rat" ist ist für uns Bassisten der "Big Muff".
Und diesen klassischsten aller Distortion/Fuzz Sounds liefert der Wren & Cuff in allerbester Güte.
Wie man oben sieht gibt es 5 * 5 Sterne von mir... und das ohne Übertreibung: Das teil ist robust verarbeitetschicke und gut zu bedienende Potis, 3 auf der Vorderseite die den typischen Fuzz Sound regeln und an der Seite ein Mischregler, der den Original Basssound je nach Bedarf von 0 - 100% hinzuregelt, damit ist der Wren & Cuff moderner bzw. vielseitiger als ein Big Muff.
Es gibt mittlerweile unzählige Bass Fuzz / Distortion Pedale für Bass und Geschmäcker sind verschieden, wer aber "den" klassischen Sound Sound sucht ist hier besser bedient als bei neuen BigMuffs und auch bei alten Big Muffs.
Ach sagte ich schon das das Ding so gut wie rauscharm ist.
