Comfortable and elegant

I've always had difficulty finding a good shoulder rest that is comfortable and fits my shoulder / neck, so it's a relief to find one that suits me. I've found this very comfortable, it has a perfect shape for my neck and shoulder, so that the violin balances without any muscle tension or strain. The wood frame is pleasing and good quality and the padded side is comfortable. It was easy to fit and adjust, making playing much more comfortable. It's not too expensive and worth every penny to get something that fits.

This shoulder rest is okay for the price but it does not stay on my fiddle as well as I hoped. I think i will be paying a little more the next time i decide to purchase a shoulder rest.

Der Shoulder Rest ist in der Gesamtlänge bei max. Länge und großer Korpusbreite (4/4tel Stradivari Model) etwas kurz. Dies gab aber kein Problem, da sich die Halter bei mir nicht direkt gegenüber stehen. Gummis sind griffig, Polster ist angenehm und Holz im Schulterbereich ausreichend breit und ergonomisch geformt.
Die Holzfarbe auf dem Bild stimmt nicht. Mein Shoulder Rest ist dunkel braun. Passt aber besser zu meiner Geige. Warum das Teil Standard Black heißt... keine Ahnung.

Abzug gibt's für die Gesamtgröße (s.o.) und die Länge der Schrauben, die meiner Meinung nach gut einen halben Zentimeter länger hätten sein können.

Ce coussin est ce que j'ai testé de mieux. Personnellement, les coussins trop sophistiqués me gênent, sa forme assez simple et sa finesse m'ont donc parfaitement convenue. Il est très confortable et ne glisse pas. Je le préfère aux classiques Kun ou Wolf, même si la mousse se décolle un peu plus vite que sur ces derniers, mais un point de colle, et c'est reparti! Les pieds sont résistants, se règlent facilement et leur matière n'âbime pas le violon. Et ce qui fait la différence, c'est qu'il est plus esthétique que la plupart des autres coussins, et aussi, moins cher!!
