It's a great cable, no tone loss noticed, after 1 and a half years still silent.

Maybe if it had better jacks...

I stopped using them (both the 3 and 6m) in less than an hour because the angled "silent" jacks kept pop out every now and then (there is a spring in there), so it was a struggle.

Maybe these are more appropriate for guitars with output jacks on the body (like SGs etc) and not on the side of the body (Parker etc.).

The cable itself is fine, no losses I could hear of, but I would prefer another Neutrik instead of the Hicon jack.

Als längjähriger, und durchaus zufriedener, Cordial-Kabel-User wollte ich mal über den Tellerrand hinaus sehen. Vom Preisgefüge her spielen Cordial und Sommer ja in etwa der gleichen Liga. Da bietet sich ein Vergleich schon mal an.

Grundsätzlich möchte ich feststellen: Man macht mit beiden Marken ganz sicher nichts falsch. Allerdings kann ich von der Langlebigkeit her bislang nur Cordial objektiv beurteilen. Aber das Sommer Kabel wirkt von der Haptik und der Robustheit genauso Vertrauenserweckend wie das Cordial, in diesem Fall das Cordial CSI 6 PR-175. Ob es dem rauen Bühnenalltag die nächsten Jahre genauso gut besteht, wird es hoffentlich bald beweisen können.

Zwei Dinge sind mir aber aufgefallen:

-Das Sommer Kabel wirkt im Vergleich etwas offener und direkter, der Pegel etwas höher. Es ist natürlich nicht gravierend, aber tatsächlich wahrnehmbar. In diesem Fall ist sogar noch ein Silent Stecker verbaut, funktioniert tatsächlich tadellos. Gibt es allerdings auch bei den Kollegen.
-Das Cordial Kabel kann dafür mit Flexibilität und Zuverlässigkeit punkten. Hinschmeißen, einstöpseln, fertig! Monat für Monat, Jahr für Jahr. Keine Schlaufen und Knoten, kein Knistern und Kruschpeln.

Fazit: Wir sprechen hier von einem hohen Niveau und die Unterschiede sind Gejammer auf eben diesem. Man kann sicherlich wesentlich mehr Geld für ein Kabel ausgeben...wer es braucht!?! Es geht natürlich auch vieeeel Günstiger...bitte, tut euch das nicht an! Sonst schimpt euch irgendwann die Greta ;-)!
