I just switched to Schaller instead of the original machine head because of the smaller and more accurate construction along with the perfect tuning. It takes to drill 2 extra holes to install the tuners but it's easy and fits perfectly. The shipping was extra fast and the communication with Thomann's staff was kind, friendly and very helpful. bought this as a replacement for my bass, it fell of the stand and broke the wings...exact same style and colour...took a few mins take to install and hasnt given any bother since...
