Assolutamente consigliato. Utilizzato per avvolgere oltre 100 mt di cavo dmx con i relativi connettori. Assoluta praticità durante la stesura dei cavi nei nostri stage. stabile durante la stesura ed il riavvolgimento. Pratico il dente di blocco che impedisce lo srotolarsi del cavo durante il trasporto. Inseribile agevolmente nelle casse da trasporto Thon 40x40.

Sturdy cable reel makes break down quicker

I bought a couple of these to use for cable storage. I made a small hole in the side of the reel to hold the ends of XLR cables, then put 5 or 6 cables on the reel & wind away. Now at the end of the gig, I can get 10 to 12 cables packed up in about a minute rather than 10 minutes to individually coil & Velcro tie each one. Perfect, sturdy construction.

Bought this to tidy up my collection of XLR cables. When connecting to XLR cables the plugs get a bit bulky and do not perfectly wind around the cable drum. But nonetheless I winded several cables around the drum and now do not have to unfold before and fold them after use. Very comfortable!
The cable drum is not rock solid but okay.
You can block it with a little plastic part what works quite fine.
I have no idea why some non-pro should spend more for a cable drum of this size.
And it's much more tidy than throwing cables into a case.
And not as annoying as folding them.
I now have a dedicated cable drum for each size of XLR cables I have... I love that Monk-ish order ;-)

Worthwhile

Well made. We use it to roll up 50 m of cat 6 cable for occasional use and it was definitely worth it. Makes life easier.
