Meinl Byzance Jazz Extra Thin Crash 18"

Currently my favourite 18inch cymbal. This is another Paper thin sounding cymbal without any low pitched resonances. Sounds excellent at low volume, but can be played quite loudly when required. I have found this one very good for recording as well.

What can a man say about meinl cymbals, I have tried all kinds but ends up choosing meinl cymbals over and over, these is simply the best sounding cymbals, nice characters, I simply love them!

Es ist sehr dynamisch einsetzbar, da es, wie der Name sagt, sehr dünn ist und dadurch super schnell anspricht. Deshalb auch bestens für Mallet-Wirbel geeignet und lässt sich auch per Hand spielen. Allerdings ist es dadurch natürlich auch relativ empfindlich, da das Material sich sehr leicht biegen lässt und für häretere Spielweisen eventuell nicht geeignet ist.
Klanglich stellt das Becken sehr schnell eine schöne warme, leich dunkle Atmosphäre her.
Ich setze es für akustisch sphärische Musik ein, aber auch für Jazz oder im Orchester. Allsamt vollkommen begeistert!

Erittäin mukava pelti, joka syttyy herkästi, soi selkeästi ja sammuu aika nopeasti. Erilaisilla lyöntitekniikoilla tästä saa helposti monenlaisia ääniä irti. Kello ei soi. Täysillä mekkalaa lähtee luokkaa 110dB.

Mun setissä on tämä 18", byzance 16" jazz med crash ja powerful-ride20. Haikka on 14" Jazz Thin, ja nämä on oikein hyvin yhteen soiva combo.
