Kompakter gebaut als der erste, klingt genauso gut

Wer den Wurm kauft, der weiß warum! Der Sound ist einfach super - war er bei der ersten Version schon und ist er beim Wurm2 auch! Punkt!

Wer es nicht kennt: der Sound ist nah am "originalen" HM-2 von Boss, aber etwas feiner. Fein heißt in keinster Weise weniger brachial, sondern eher: weniger "quäkig" und weniger Nebengeräusche. Größter Unterschied: 4 statt 2 EQ-Regler. "Low" und "High Mid" sind quasi identisch mit dem HM-2, "High" und "Low Mid" sind extra und ermöglichen es, den Sound noch besser einzustellen - bei mir persönlich z.B. mit weniger "Low Mid", klingt etwas weniger matschig.

Hier nehmen sich Wurm und Wurm2 nichts. Ich meine der Wurm2 klingt minimal feiner, kann aber durchaus einfach Einbildung sein. Was super ist: der Schalter zum Umstellen des Modus HM-2 / KMA, um einen anderen Sound zu kreieren nun endlich außen und nicht mehr im Gehäuse.

Ob die Anschlüsse oben am Gehäuse nun besser sind - nunja, das hängt davon ab was ihr sonst für Pedale in der Schleife habt. :-)

Chainsaw des abysses

Kma nous propose ici une version améliorée de la HM2. Le son est plus organique moins synthétique, plus gras plus FAT que la Boss! Le son chainsaw (tous les potards à fond) est impressionnant, je n'ai jamais entendu rien de tel. Les accords transpercent très violemment. J'ai remarqué une chose c'est qu'elle réagissait extrêmement bien au low tuning -Sib pour ma part -.
Sur un accordage plus standard ça fonctionne également très très bien ! La plage de réglage nous propose malgré tout une large palette de son, si je veux faire du rock ça marche ! Donc pas uniquement que pour du métal, ça va dépendre de votre ampli aussi...
La qualité KMA est excellente, j'ai eu des marques de pédales différentes mais vraiment c'est de la bonne qualité. True by pass respecté !
Je pense que la Wurm2 est un achat coup de cœur, ce n'est pas pour tout le monde mais si vous aimez ce son qui tronçonne vous devez impérativement l'essayer ! Je dirais que par rapport aux autres clones du HM2 il y'a un côté un peu plus bassy ce qui lui donne du plus de corps. Mais si les basses vous dérange les potards de réglages sont très efficaces ! À noter que vous avez un switch HM2 et KMA sur la pedale qui vous donnera soit un son plus aigu soit plus grave pour faire simple.
J'achète, je revends, je test mais celle ci je la garde !

Dirty and powerful on synth

I mainly use it on synths (Neutron & Microfreak) and it enhances their sounds.
It offers the possibility to change the algorithm used by the pedal and it allows me to gently modify the sound design while I'm using the synth.

I also tries it with a groovebox and a kick synth and it IS perfect to create some unique dirty and powerful drums.

However, it creates a bit of noise when no signal is being processeur. A noise gate should help with this "issue" (which isn't because it's a distorsion pedal).

Also works fine on guitar when I process it through the computer.
