Ce l'ho ormai da qualche mese in pedaliera con distorsioni hi-gain come BE-OD e Pathos. Svolge il suo compito egregiamente, azzerando il rumore generato dai pedali più aggressivi senza tagliare l'attacco nemmeno sui suoni puliti. Con solo un potenziometro e uno switch è semplicissimo da settare e ci si dimentica di averlo.

In Situationen mit weniger Gain ist der Schalter praktisch, da man so schnell den Threshold herunter setzen kann. Lediglich ein paar mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten (a la TC Sentry) währen wünschenswert. Für mich funktionert das Gate aber so wie es ist super, daher die Höchstwertung.

Einfach in der Handhabung, effektiv beim Gaten, weitgehend soundneutral, super-robust und preiswert, für mich perfekt. Durch die Ein-Poti-plus-Schalter-Bedienung sofort einsetzbar. Ich habe das Gate in einer der Gigrig G3S-Loops und schalte es damit wenn es notwendig ist. Allerdings: Wenn man von einem Crunch-Sound mit dem Gitarren-Volume-Poti stark runterregelt kann man schon genau im Gate-Einsatzbereich sein, dann wird es unschön. Dafür kann ich es aber separat zu den Programmen ausschalten wenn's sein muss. Wenn ich ehrlich bin gibt es nur einen Punkt, der mich wirklich ärgert: Dass ich das Gate nicht schon viel früher gekauft hatte...
