A well engineered, handy solution

So many of the universal camera mounts I have bought over the years have been poorly made, I am pleased to report this one is very solid in operation, and well designed to hold a camera (or recorder etc,) on a microphone stand safely in any position. I'm sure I will find it very useful.

A small useful gadget, sometimes I need it. It is possible to use it in microphone setting or also when attaching the camera to the stative.

Da meine Kamera nur gelegentlich auf eine Stativ muss, habe ich mir diesen Adapter für die vorhandenen Mikrofonstative besorgt.

Die Handhabung ist sehr gut, ich kann die Kamera wie gewünscht positionieren und hält auch in Schräglage, allerdings ist meine kleine Kamera nicht sonderlich schwer. Die Schraube für den Kugelkopf könnte ein grösseres Griffrad haben, dann wäre die Einstellung noch komfortabler, denn man muss sie schon ordentlich festziehen.

Mit der Verarbeitung bin ich nicht so zufrieden:
- Auf der unteren Rändelschraube war ein Fleck, eventuell ein Lackierfehler.
- Es befand sich überschüssiges Fett auf dem Adapter, wohl für die Schrauben und den Kugelkopf. Ich musste das vorsichtig reinigen, um das Fett nicht auf meiner ganzen Ausrüstung zu verteilen. Unschön.

Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich nichts sagen.

Zu beachten gilt es noch, dass man für übliche Mikrofonstative noch ein 3/8" auf 5/8" Reduziergewinde braucht. Das ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Es reicht ein kurzes, wie z.B. K&M 217.

Man sieht es ist noch Luft nach oben, aber für eine sehr günstiges Produkt bin ich aber sehr zufrieden.

Sollte ich nochmal so einen Adapter suchen würde ich vermutlich den "Roadworx Universal Ball Joint" in Betracht ziehen, der an meinen Kritikpunkten wohl besser abschneidet.
