Great sound - low fabrication quality

Hey there,

I bough this cause I have seen it on a JHS show and at this price tag, I don't risk anything.

It sounds very good (for what it does) but the knobs quality seems poor.
They also don't feel great when you turn them.

Anyway, if you are looking for a pedal on a budget, this is definitively a good option cause at this price tag, a little of concession is in order: the sound is good so quality cannot match other pedal that tag at least at the double of the price.

You get what you pay for, isn't it ?

Very good tiny pedal. If you are looking for Distortion (OCD clone) without breaking the bank and also for a cleaner and more practical Pedalboard, this is a Great go.
At first one's would question if a below $50 Distortion from PRC is worth the try, but if you don't care much of Designer Pedals or would consider something inexpensive, you might keep this one for years.

Für den Preis und auch an sich unglaublich gut.

Ich bin immer noch auf der ewigen Suche nach den richtigen Overdrives. Dabei hatte ich dieses hier mal aus Spaß bestellt, weil ich mit Flamma Delay und Reverb schon sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht habe.

Zum Sound:
Es handelt sich um ein sogenanntes transparentes (Modewort aber heißt vom EQ nicht sehr anders als clean Signal) Pedal. Der Grundsound der Gitarre bleibt erhalten man bekommt nur mehr und brutaler.

Mittlerweile habe ich auch ein Warm Audio ODD und es ist unglaublich, wie nahe dieses von Flamma an das "Original" kommt (deshalb die Überschrift).
Das Flamma ist weniger anschlagsdynamisch und etwas aggressiver und komprimierter. Es hat nicht ganz diesen weichen gleichmäßigen Distortionsound des ODD.
Das heißt aber nicht, dass es schlecht klingt. Im Gegenteil. Es klingt richtig gut nur leicht anders und etwas gleichförmiger. Außerdem hat es mehr Gain und ein bisschen mehr Output. Das sind aber Dinge die man nur im direkten Vergleich beim ganz genauen Hinhören merkt.

Da es sehr transparent ist,´funktioniert es auch super als Booster. Es kann auch, obwohl es ein Distortion ist, gut Low Gain Sounds.

Das Flamma FC06 Distortion bietet die ganze Breite der Verzerrung. Klein handlich, gute verarbeitet, gut zu bedienen und das ganze zu einem fairen Preis.
Bitte immer an ein Netzteil denken, ein Batteriebetrieb ist nicht möglich.
Klare Kaufempfehlung.
