Ich habe die PUs in eine SG Custom einbauen lassen. Die Dinger sind wirklich sehr vielseitig einsetzbar. Es gibt diverse Verdrahtungsoptionen. Ich kenne die Fishman bereits aus anderen Gitarren. Da gefallen sie mir nicht besonders. Aber die PUs vom Willi Adler sind echt top! Bin sehr happy und auch der Look passt perfekt zur Gold-Hardware.

Ich habe mir die Tonabnehmer für meine ESP EII Eclipse gekauft. Original war ein EMG 81/60 verbaut. Das EMG Set war für highgain und clean super, aber bei allem was dazwischen liegt, haben sie mir nicht so gefallen. Ich wollte meine Gitarre vielseitiger machen. Das ist mit dem Fishman Set auf jeden Fall gelungen! Die Gitarre klingt jetzt super offen, sie kreischt, singt, rotzt, kann aber auch sanft und warm.

Der Stegtonabnehmer klingt in voice 1 super fett und warm. Hier ist von clean und crunch zu highgain alles möglich. Voice 2 ist mittenbetonter und klingt etwas aggressiver. Super für "modernere" Metal Klänge.

Der Halstonabnehmer ist der gleiche wie im classic Set, also einem PAF nachempfunden. Voice 1 ist super klar. Für mein Empfinden eher neutral im Klangverhalten, dafür aber ziemlich "bissig". Voice 2 klingt sehr warm und sanft. Super für langsame, getragene Melodien - Ohrengenuß pur.
Voice 3 ist der single-coil Modus. Gefällt mir auch sehr gut. Super klarer Sound!

Ich kannte Wille Adler und seine Band Lamb of God vorher nicht und werde auch kein Fan von ihnen werden. Was sich Hr. Adler allerdings für seine signature pickups einfallen hat lassen, ist wirklich klasse! Die Tonabnehmer sind super vielseitig und werten meine Gitarre definitiv auf!

Sind sie besser als die EMGs? Diese Frage wurde mir jetzt schon öfter gestellt. Meine Antwort ist immer: Besser sind sie nicht, sie sind anders! ich vermisse meine EMGs trotzdem nicht!
