A lot of modulation options for a small surface area

I use this running off the clock of a DFAM to create Sample and Hold and Sine modulations, usually for augmented the FM amount or externally with a waveshaper. For the footprint, it adds a lot, and the internal clock divider/multiplier is extremely useful.

Perhaps one feature I'd have preferred is to swap the Noise output for a Ramp or Reverse Ramp waveshape, as a noise source is easy to come buy in most modular setups, but for what it is it's a great utility module.

Great value for money

Great unit for some random and modulation possibilities, noise is a nice addition. A little wobbly knobs but nothing you wouldn't expect for a unit this price. Love the small footprint and price-point. Just what you expect from Erica Pico.

Pico RND bietet einen Sinus-LFO, S&H, White Noise, Zufalls-Trigger und eine Puls-Welle mit zufälliger Puls-Breite. Die Geschwindigkeit von LFO und S&H kann intern oder extern via Clock Input gesteuert werden und geht von 0.1 - 20Hz. Bei externer Clock wird aus dem Rate-Regler ein Divisor/Multiplier mit den Faktoren 2,4 & 8. Wie bei anderen Pico-Modulen wurde auch hier das Maximum an Funktionalität aus den 3HP Breite heraus geholt, die Verarbeitung ist dabei sehr gut. Es bietet alles, was man für etwas Zufall im Eurorack braucht.
Nach einiger Zeit hat sich das Pico RND als mein Favorit (neben dem Sequencer) unter meinen Pico-Modulen herausgestellt.
