So, it is expensive for what it does, but it was precisely what I needed. 2 of my ESP guitars had this mini split switch that were unused and this EMG kill switch fits the routing perfectly. Since both guitars are equipped with EMG solderless stuff, this should have been the simplest and fastest parts swap in history.
But because it was too simple, the instructions were wrong and it took me 1 hour instead of 10 minutes to figure what the problem was. Following the instructions, the pickups would sound weak, with no sustain at all, but swapping things around made this work as it should.

In the end, I am very happy with the purchase, but it could have been perfect experience.

Der Toggle-Switch ist wie bei allen EMG-Komponenten üblich, in Plug-and-Play-Manier bei mir zuhause angekommen. Schnelle Lieferung durch Thomann zum Dank!

Der Schalter lässt sich im Handumdrehen mithilfe der Steckkontakte einbauen - für Ungeübte findet sich eine Bedienungsanleitung in der Versandbox von EMG.

Der Schalter selbst arbeitet jetzt seit ca. 50 Spielstunden sicher und zuverlässig. Die Verarbeitung ist solide und wertig, der Schalter geht leicht genug, um ein schnelles "Killen" des Signal oder den gewünschten Strobo-Effekt zu erzielen. Trotzdem ist der Kipppunkt des Schalters deutlich spürbar und der Schalter wirkt nicht "flimsig". Ich würde/werde ihn auch in anderen Gitarren einbauen. Find ich optisch einfach cooler als so einen Druckknopf wie bei einer Spielkonsole.

Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Vraiment pratique ce petit switch quand on travail Un morceaux ou pour faire une pause. Pas de buzz rien et facile à installer à la place d’un potentiomètre.

J’ai remplacé mon potentiomètre de volume par ce kill switch vu que je joue uniquement volume à fond. Bon ben ça fait parfaitement le job, plug and play, 2 minutes pour l’installer démontage et remontage de plaque compris. Ça à l’air solide, je m’en plus comme d’un bouton on/off et plus besoin de vérifier si je n’ai pas tapé dans le volume.
