A bit disappointing

The pedal is well build, looks good.
The sound with the Volume knobs at 10 is pretty good, but as soon as you turn The Volume pot under 10 The fuzz completely and abruptly vanishes and your left with a thin and unconvincing overdrive for the rest of the Volume pot. This was the case for single-coils and humbuckers. Not quite what I was expecting for the price and the hype.

Usually I have problems with fuzz in the mix with the band but this one all joy. I bought it for 60s style solos and it works perfectly. Using it with Jazzmaster, Strat and a Gretsch semi-hollow no matter it just gives me what I need with a little tone (lustre) tweek

Top für Single-Coils

Das Chthonic Fuzz klingt vor allem mit Single-Coil Pickups absolut genial! Ich habe es mit meiner Fender Strat angespielt und war begeistert. Klingt echt mächtig und bringt die Gitarre zum Singen.

Super ist auch, dass es sehr empfindlich auf den Volume-Regler an der Gitarre reagiert. Wenn ich den zurücknehme kriege ich weniger Fuzz bis hin zu einem komplett cleanen sound (Volume auf 4-5). Dadurch hat man eine große Auswahl an Sounds ohne am Pedal schrauben zu müssen.

An meiner Les Paul klingt es auch gut, aber etwas dumpf. Hier gibt es bessere Alternativen Deshalb einen Punkt Abzug beim Sound.

Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, nichts rappelt. 5/5

Also für Single-Coils absolute Kaufempfehlung!

cette Digitech a un son bien à elle. un peu granuleuse, moins grave et polyvalente que sa cousine Carcosa mais elle sonne bien et le plus c'est sa capacité à éclaircir le son lorsqu'on joue avec le potard de la guitare. un design super aussi. je l'aime beaucoup. elle est aussi à l'aise avec des humbuckers que des P90.
