a good testing cable for modular

these cables are nicely made and are, very usefull for finding out whats going on in the modular system , indespensablle , if you have no analyzer and wish to see whether you have voltage or not , a useful utility in the modular system

Handy for a quick cv level test

I bought these cables for live performances, as these cables allow me to quickly verify if a signal is coming out of a module, or not.

It does the job exactly as expected, however, the cables do feel a bit brittle, so handle them with care.

Ich benutze die Kabel hauptsächlich, um mir Trigger und Gates anzeigen zu lassen, wo eine entsprechende LED fehlt. Dafür sind sie super. Bautechnisch bedingt verliert das Signal dabei etwas an Spannung, was für diese Fälle egal ist.
Sie nehmen dabei etwas mehr Platz weg als die meisten anderen Kabel, das sollte man bedenken. Auch sollte man auf die richtige Länge achten.

Insgesamt praktische Begleiter beim Patchen!

Mon amie qui ne connait rien au sujet à très bien résumé l'idée: ce sont des câbles tests. En plus c'est joli dans le noir.

Une petite chute de tension inhérente au principe de fonctionnement fait qu'on ne peut pas utiliser ces câbles partout: on les évitera sur certains signaux CV, en particulier les contrôles de fréquence.

C'est surtout adapté pour les Gates mais on peut aussi l'utiliser sur un signal d'Enveloppe par exemple.

En fonction de la polarité du signal le câble s'allumera en rouge(+) ou vert(-).
La led rouge s'allume aux alentours de + 1,6V et la led verte aux alentours de -2V.

A voir comment le produit vieillira avec les années, la texture du câble est caoutchouteuse.
