I bought them to try different pickups without damaging the threads in the pickups. My guitar pickups are screwed into the wood with screws.

The screws are too long 35 mm, you can pierce the guitar!

addendum: the threads on the Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups are different from the threads on this mount, making them pointless. You'll still have to ruin the threads on the pickups. That's why the rating is low..

Vorgeschichte:
Ich habe letztes Jahr einen Warwick Streamer Std Bass hier gekauft. Bei dem guten Stück war bisher die Elektronik defekt (wurde kostenlos getauscht), die Klinkenbuchse defekt (wurde kostenlos getauscht) und bei einem Gig vor 2 Wochen sind plötzlich beide Pickups an den Saiten „gehangen“. Da ich mittlerweile keinen Bock mehr habe, das gute Stück immer zu Thomann zu schicken, hab ich das Teil selbst repariert.

Zu den Buchsen: die alten Steck-Inserts, die am Warwick Bass montiert waren, sind ausgebrochen und haben die Pickups nicht mehr gehalten. Also habe ich die entfernt und die neuen Schraub-Inserts in die Löcher eingeschraubt. Jetzt halten die Pickups wieder bombenfest - die brechen so schnell nicht mehr aus.

Fazit: Super Teile - die hätte Warwick auch gleich montieren können.
