Nice portable unit

I've had this unit for a few weeks. I use it for rehearsal and gigs whenever I need to travel light. It is so small fits in any bass bag.

It has everything I need and nothing more : tuner, compressor, preamp and chorus. All effects sound OK, especially considering the price and size.

The unit is well built and feels sturdy. It might have been a good idea to protect the little knobs from the foot switches - but again, at this price point...

I also own the Valeton Dapper Bass, which is a bit bigger and has a couple more effects. Only good things to say about it after a few years of use....

But what attracted me in the Valeton Dapper Bass Mini is its extreme portability. Very happy with the Mini so far :-) I actually don't use the bigger one that much any more.

Der Dapper ist wirklich schön kompakt, meines Erachtens gut bis sehr gut verarbeitet und dennoch noch recht gut zu bedienen (die Regelpotis sind ja schon klein). Ich persönlich bin kein allzu großer Freund von vielen Effekten. Der Dapper Mini hat da die richtige Auswahl an Bord. Die 3 Effekte sind alle von guter Qualität. Auch der Tuner ist bei diesem Modell gut zu gebrauchen. Bisher kann ich nur sagen, daß das für den Preis ein empfehlenswertes Gerät ist - vor allem für all die, die etwas einfaches und kompaktes suchen.
