Built like a tank, not enough foam inside though
The Zed R16 fits really well inside this case when closed. It's built really well and it's very solid. The only problem I have with it is I don't think there's enough foam for underneath the mixer and when you want to plug in your cables at the back you need to prop the whole mixer up with something (I'm using some surplus foam), but even with that it's not enough. I think I'm going to find myself re-doing the inside of the case to make the case fit better. However your mixer will still be safe within this case. It's also quite heavy with the mixer in the case. Some rubber wheels on the side and a trolley handle would be a nice addition.

Superb product
I bought this recently for a job where I had to take my ZED R16 out of my studio and into a live setting. Being nervous about it, I ordered a flight case to minimise the risk. Very impressed by this, the quality is fantastic, sturdy and strong. I'm not even worried about doing more live sessions now, in fact I might book some more to use the flight case again!
