Oh Wow!
Genos is the bizz! 19.06.2023
At last, I own A Genos bag which includes a sturdy music stand side pocket. The Yamaha version which I have used for yearsn has a very flimsy music stand cover which is certainly not fit for purpose. Well done Thomann!

A good alternative to the more expensive Yamaha branded gig bag,
Johnzh 27.06.2026
Having spent over £3,000 on the Genos 2 I wanted a case that wasn’t going to damage the back of my Tesla whilst at the same time protecting my latest acquisition. It looked the part, was less costly and I guess that I trusted that Thomann would have produced (or at least put their name to) only a good quality product - I wasn’t disappointed.

At first I thought that the bag was too short for the Genos 2. In one sense it is. If you leave the small bag for adapters, and other bits and pieces inside the main compartment, then it is a real stretch to get the keyboard in. I took it out and then it was a nice, snug fit.

The only other slight criticism I would make is that the small compartment on the lid of the gig bag, and where I will store the music stand, has a metal zip opener that could potentially damage the plastic on the music stand if it was allowed to come into contact with it.

The main carrying handle, the wheels and the quality of the material used are all excellent and you feel confident that as long as other stuff isn’t put on top of it, it will fare well during travel.

A quality product at a realistic price.

A strong case that is light and unique in its kind protects the organ well and is especially comfortable to carry
