Good for the price
Benjamin I., 06.03.2018
The hinges are not as tough as in my Fender or Planet Waves tuners but the spring clip is. During the first couple of days something inside it made a faint buzzing sound when I played certain notes but this has stopped now.

Sometimes it hesitates for one or two seconds before registering the note but that is resolved if it's clipped somewhere else on the headstock. The on/off switch is situated at a convenient place. The screen is large and bright.

The luminous needles on the screen show the pitch with enough accuracy but not as finely as the Planet Waves (three times the price) or the Fender (twice the price). However the display is precise enough to set an intonation if I also listen carefully.

I trust my other tuners a little more but it can be done with this one, too. At times it does not display the right note, say an A instead of an E, but it indicates the right pitch anyway, I guess it mixes up some harmonics but it doesn't matter, and other tuners also do that sometimes. The letters are big and bright.

I like the satin but not toyish bright color, and the plastic is not slippery. It works with my bass, too, without having to change the mode. I keep it on my desk all the time because not all my guitars have their own tuner. For only 7 euros battery included I'm happy with it.

Edit: I pulled the battery out and rubbed both sides on rough fabric for a minute. Put it back in and the digital needle doesn't fluctuate anymore. Seems that a greasy film or some oxidation on the battery reduced the power coming out of it.

Thomann always remains number 1, because it satisfies every need of the musician by offering quality at an exceptional price.
This tuner works on both bass and guitar.
Pros: cheap, precise, aesthetically beautiful.
Cons: honestly no one.
I recommend it to everybody.
Thanks Thomann guys!!!

does what it should.
TheHarleyBentonFanatic, 05.07.2020
the tuner in general is very adequite, it is made of a cheap feeling plastic and it did feel a bit flimsy, but its not like im throwing it around alot.

i didnt come with a battery which sucked, but thats really the only bad thing outside of the cheap plasticy feel.

picks up the notes well, and does what it was advertised.

Cheap and Cheerful
Daniel B. 502, 14.11.2017
Like Ronsil this does exactly what it says on the tin. I have a silly amount of studio gear and as such I am always looking out for the bargain to be had, AND THIS IS ONE!!. I have a multitude of tuners and this one never fails. I even bought a couple and have them laying around the house and studio as when people come for a jam session they like harry Houdini seem to disappear but at the price It not so bad.

Be aware that when you buy this product you are receiving quality. I've tested this against high priced tuners and rig ones and find it to give an accurate reading. the design is robust and I have yet to have one break or fail on me. the battery seems to last forever. you will not be sad you bought one or five of these tuners and that's a promise : )

Works great
C1Rob, 21.06.2020
Bought this to go with my first guitar and works great!

Easy to read display!

Lots of options but havent used them yet. You will need the manual to know how to use these options though so hence the lower score on use.

Super tuner Thomann 👍😜
Mountainhop, 29.04.2020
Very cheap, very solid, good rubber grip it even holds ground if the guitar tubles over, visible in darker surrounding (it lights up like ET’s finger) and last but not least there it is, the Thomann logo on the little red tuning device. Fits perfectly on both acoustic as electric guitars and even on the ukelele!.

Over the hills and far away quality leaving the whole tuner family way behind.
Keep up the good work Freunde von Thomann

Small, portable tuner
GermanG, 11.04.2017
I bought this tuner for my ukulele, as I needed something small, light and easy to use, and I have to say that it does the job... most of the time.

The tuner is easy enough to use. It only has a couple of buttons to move around the modes, etc... For what I want it, it is just clip in, push the button, tune the hell out of those strings and keep on playing.

My big downside is that it is not as precise and accurate as other type of tuners. If being exactly in tune every time is one of your main concerns, you may want to look for a different gadget, specially if your instrument can be plugged in.

On the other hand, it gives a lot of bang for the buck. It is super light, discrete, easy to read even in the dark, power efficient, and it works with a good amount of instruments.

I like the finish of it too.

Update: I have just taken 3 stars away from the quality, as I accidentally dropped the tuner from a very low height (about 50cm) on a wooden floor and it stopped working completely.

At this price, there's no reason to not have one
nathanchere, 19.03.2020
Not exactly built like a tank but compared to some not-that-much-cheaper tuners I've bought from places like aliexpress this is exceptional. The clamp is sturdy enough, the display looks honestly brilliant for the price and the tuning accuracy is more than sufficient for something to throw into your guitar case when you're on the road or even just at home and don't want to mess with a bulkier tuner.

Amazing gadget
06.04.2017
This tuner is very versatile, very small, very easy to read and aesthetically pleasing. It is very accurate and quick and gives very fine grained feedback of how below or above tune your instrument is. There are no drawbacks. It works well even when there is a bit of noise since it measures based on vibration, this is a big plus ! I use it for guitar but it can be used with a lot of instruments.

I love these!
Thonk, 03.01.2020
Right.

I'm a pro musician of 35 years.
Bass, Double Bass, E guitar, Acoustic & Slide.

I love these little things!
I always look for simple stuff, less buttons to press by mistake is a really important thing live.
I changed to these from Snarks and don't regret it at all.
Every Instrument I have has one of these in its case/bag, they are so affordable!
All my double basses have one sitting on the bridge in their cases as well.
Simple one button to switch on.
Difficult to alter settings by mistake.
Batteries switch out in seconds if they run out during a gig.

Cons

None.

Uncle Albert, 26.12.2018
It was my first clip-on tuner and I liked it. I mean it's quiet precise and the battery lasts very long (about 6 months in my case). Can be used with lots of different instruments. There's only one thing you should take into account - it's mainly good for the home practice. When I tried to use it at my band's rehearsal place it happened to be pretty useless. Probably it was too distracted by lots of noises around and I couldn't tell everybody to shut up every time I needed to check my tuning :) So if you'd like to buy it for home practice - go ahead, it's good, especially for the price. For the real rehearsals you'd rather need a pedal tuner.

Necessary equipment for all musicians
Egon1408, 14.08.2015
I really like these compact tuners that work with piezo sensor on vibrations and surrounding loud noises do not disturb your tuner and guitar tuning. Easy to use, good and well readable display which can be rotated or adjusted to preffered angle. I have this item on the neck of my guitar or ukulele all the time and between songs I can easily and quickly adjust the tuning. Price is great as well, highly recommended !

Does *everything* it says on the back of the box
peterhuppertz, 01.05.2020
What can I say? This little tuner does everything exactly right. I can't think of a single thing to criticize. Operation is intuitive and it tunes very precisely.
The price/performance ratio is at least 7 out of 5 stars. I was initially hesitant because of the price, but this turned out to be unwarranted.

NOT TOO BAD.
TUBBY LAD, 18.05.2020
Not so easy to read. I think the blue mark, which tells when the string is in tune, should be changed to green. The green lights tell when string is sharp.

Peerfect little tuner
Louie Louie, 15.08.2019
Thomann does it again..
Nice bright, accurate display that doesn't go all over the place.
Sturdy build with good clip that's narrow enough to slide under Telecaster strings.
Lots of features.
Perfect Xmas present for all your tone-deaf, skinflint band-mates.

Excellent, highly flexible with a lot of functions
jos76, 20.07.2017
This tuner has very nice casing and soft surface. It is very easy to turn and lean it into any direction, so it can be clipped on in many different ways and the indications are easily read. All the functions work perfectly. Rubber pads protect the instrument when attached. Battery consumption is relatively low. The clip and positioning gears are very durable, even with intensive daily use on several instruments.

It's a value-for-money clip on tuner
Tofuorianer, 12.05.2020
It's a good value-for-money clip-on with a few options depending on the instrument. Good illumination/clear information on the display which helps in a live environment.

10/10 !
08.01.2016
I must say, when it comes to "store-branded" products, Thomann really outdone itself.

Store-Branded products in my experience are usually cheaper and just carry the Store's name, but in this case, it feels like Thomann is choosing for her customers nothing but the best!

Quality is amazing, you get exactly what you see, the plastic quality is great, the clip, and the multi-rotation axis is perfect.

Actually, I got more than I asked for, it comes with different settings for advance users, and!!!
***THIS TUNER IS ACCURATE AS F$%K!!***

Couldn't find any cons...

Rediculous price guys!
