I have purchased this to go with my existing handheld mic set. The build quality isn't as high as the hand held mics which feel much stronger, this is made of plastic which could break if not looked after. It comes with a lead from the mini XLR plug in the transmitter to a 1/4" jack so no need to purchase this additionally as I did
