i use these patch-cords for creating weird (and often spooky, scary) sound in the so-called "no-input mixing board" technique (shortform: NIMB).
it revolves around the concept of creating electric / electronic feedback by re-feeding the audio signal from an(y) output into an(y) input – for which patch-cords become the equivalent of strings on a guitar, kind-of.
these are easy to grasp, soft to the touch, easily plyable, packed in clearly identifiable different colors... couldn't really ask for more, after having mixed a bag of this angled ones with a bag of straight ones, then the same on shorter length...
i'm good at soldering, only use cables that i've assembled by myself – these are the only ones that i buy pre-made and am glad to use for exactly this application... none such, actually!
