Just a Suhr. Enough said

Even if this is a Standard series Suhr, it's quite obvious that this is custom guitar, made up to standards that I have not seen on any other brand

Build quality is top notch and the versatility is just amazing. You can play from the most hot licks using the bridge pickup to a perfect classic single coil sound in the neck (and all the possibilities in between )

Regarding the neck, I would consider it a thin neck, but not too thin to be uncomfortable. Quite comfy no matter if you are chording or soloing.

I consider the Standard model of Suhr their flagship, being just in the middle of the classic and the modern approach. A guitar for almost every type of music and player, that you can rely on.

Not what I was expecting from a Suhr guitar.

A little disappointed with this guitar. I agree with other opinions here that the worst flaw in this guitar is the bridge. No matter how you fix it, it loses intonation if you use it a little harder than a very slight tremolo.
Also the tone control button is not well centered and you can notice so when you turn it, it has a precession like movement, such as the wobble of a spinning top if you know what I mean. Not a 4000+ euros finish, definitely.
Don't get me wrong, this guitar is not bad and it is very well crafted except for the bridge, and it would be an excellent under 2000,00 euros guitar. It is fine sound wise, although it sounds duller than my custom shop Fenders, and it "feels" cheaper than my Tom Anderson in every way, remarcably the smell. One smells as fine woods, the other as chemicals, as a (very good otherwise) korean guitar. My guess is that Suhr does not pay the same attention to their production guitars than they do in their custom made ones, no matter what they say.
I will keep it because it's stunningly beautiful, it's playability is very good and well, it's a Suhr anyway. But if you are under a 4000+ euros guitar that feels like so, look elsewhere.
